クズザンポーラ！

最近のブータンは天気がよく、青空がひろがっています。ドチュラ峠から見える雪帽子のヒマラヤ山脈の美しさには息を飲みます。夜は星々が瞬き、流れ星も時折みられます。今日のティンプーは快晴で最高気温16度、最低気温は0度です。
ティンプーに建築途中の51mのブッダ（お釈迦様）の像は除々にその姿を表すようになり、今年の終わりか来年の初めには落成することができそうです。完成すれば、世界で２番目の高さを誇る像となります。この像が立つ丘はティンプーの谷のどこにいても見える場所にあります。像は観光客にとっても新しい見所になるかもしれませんね。

Kuzug Zang Pola !

These days the weather in Bhutan is good with clear blue skies. The view of the snow capped Himalayan Mountains from Dochula pass is breath taking. The night skies are filled with twinkling stars and at times one can see shooting stars too. Today Thimphu is bright and sunny with 16 degrees high and 0 degree celcius low.

The 51 meter high statue of Buddha in Thimphu is slowly taking its shape and may be completed by end of this year or early next year. This statue is going to be the 2nd highest in the world. This statue is being built on a hill and can be seen from almost every corner of Thimphu valley. This will be another new attraction for the tourists.
